Gabriel Boyd, MA, LPC

Gabriel believes that treatment is to each client's unique needs. He rejects a one-size-fits-all mentality, instead focusing on the mind-body connection and adopting a holistic perspective. Gabriel integrates techniques to address emotional and physical distress, emphasizing the importance of staying present and engaged to avoid intellectualizing problems. While respecting Gestalt principles, he also supports clients in understanding their identity and place in life. Gabriel also incorporates existential theory to help clients explore meaning, choice, and personal responsibility. He acknowledges that symptoms like anxiety are everyday human experiences and is flexible in using a holistic approach, respecting clients' preferences, and adapting his methods accordingly. Gabriel believes therapy is a collaborative process that is built over time and strives to ensure clients feel welcomed into a supportive and empathetic therapy space that will bring them peace within their minds, body, and soul.
