Gabriel Boyd, MA, LPC

Gabriel has always had a desire to work in the mental health field,
specifically helping adults navigate past trauma, relationships, and
life events to become the best versions of themselves. He believes it
is important to find the root cause for mental health to guide
individuals to making permanent changes in their lives so they can
experience long-lasting effects. Gabriel’s goal is to provide services
that dive deeper than talk therapy to allow individuals to
self-reflect and use tools throughout everyday life. Gabriel believes
therapy is a collaborative process that is built over time and strives
to ensure clients feel welcomed into a supportive and empathetic
therapy space that will bring them peace within their mind, body, and
soul.

Gabriel is in the process of completing his certification for
Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy. He is excited to utilize this reflective
form of therapy to facilitate clients to work through and heal from
past and current anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction, among
additional stressors. Gabriel earned his Master’s of Arts in Clinical
Mental Health Counseling from John Carroll University and his
Bachelor’s in Psychology from Florida State University. He has
experience working with adults with addiction and trauma backgrounds.
Gabriel is passionate about working with older teenagers (14+) and adult
clients.

Gabriel works under the supervision of Dani Proffitt.,MEd., LPCC-S, MFT.
