​Tony Apolczer, M.A., LPC

Tony is a dedicated mental health therapist who strives to create a safe and nurturing environment where clients can be fully authentic and vulnerable. Working with individuals across the lifespan (8+), Tony seeks to provide a compassionate, empathetic therapeutic experience that is tailored to each client's unique needs.
Trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, Tony utilizes a variety of evidence-based, trauma-informed interventions in the therapeutic space. Other approaches include client-centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, play therapy, and mindfulness. Tony has experience helping individuals with trauma, anxiety, depression, life adjustments, and relationship issues. As an avid musician, he deeply appreciates the vital role that creative expression plays in the healing process. He believes that art and music can be powerful tools for self-discovery and emotional release, and he often encourages clients to incorporate their creative passions into their therapeutic journeys. Tony is also developmentally aware and utilizes sand-tray and play based therapy while working with children.
Tony's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, both from Trevecca Nazarene University.
